Study on Overpressure Explosion of Oil and Gas Pipelines and Risk Prevention & Control Measures

Abstract In view of the flammable and explosive characteristics oil gas pipeline transportation medium, once it leaks, production safety accidents are easy to occur. This study uses explosions with severe consequences caused by natural leakage as an example. The risk factors accident modes storage pipelines analyzed; explosion load is calculated a scaling prediction model TNO multi-energy method; relationship between overpressure combustible cloud radius studied. methane-air volume fraction 9.5% taken another example, which attenuation law wave obtained. Based on above research, prevention control measures proposed. research results can provide technical support for daily management pipelines.
